mussoorie

                                                            Mussoorie
Hello friends, will tell you today about one of the most beautiful destinations India, Mussorie.
I have visited this place several times in my life and every time I experience something new and fresh. It is a place full of beauty and peace.
If you are planning any trip on this vacation Mussoorie could be a good option for you. If you really want to visit this place at least plan for a week’s vacation to explore this beautiful hill station. No coming back is the experience of Mussorie. You can experience the luxury of the place in any budget you want.
It is only 290 KM away from Delhi. It takes 6 hours to reach Dehradun from Delhi.

The way from Dehradun to Mussoorie is awesome as you exponentially go high on altitude you will start feeling cold breeze. The way has lots of twists and turns and very steep. But roads are well maintained.
It is 7,500 feet above sea level. Temperature in Mussorie vary according to seasons. In summer it would be around 15-20 degree celsius. Weather of Mussorie changes like magic. Sudden changes in weather from sun shine it can start raining and in few minutes the fog will cover you.
After reaching Mussoorie you can book resort or hotels or you can do pre bookings also. It cost you from Rs.1000 per day and in off season you can get in 700 per day a good neat and clean hotel.
On first day of your trip, you may visit mall road as every hill station have a local market call mall road. Mussoorie has lots of restaurants and food joints to have delicious meal. You can have CCD , Dominos, KFC, etc. even desi dhabas are there to serve you North Indian thali, Chinese, etc. There is famous shop of kullahad wala milk (dudh) and jalebi. Famous Bengali shop for rosgulla. And of course Maggi with tea is absolutely anyone would love in winters.

Next day you can book a cab to Dhanaulti. Yes, I love this place. Its soothing environment can take you out of the world that is beyond your expectation. ECO Park is the main attraction of Dhanaulti. It is the house of deodar trees. When you stand on the Shivalik ranges you feel why people are so fond of mountains.

Other nearby sightseeing places near Mussoorie are Lal Tibba, Lake Mist, Kempty falls, paragliding and trekking, company garden, camel back road. It has a nature walk known as "Camel's Back Road". This road takes its name from a rocky outcrop in the shape of a camel's hump. The road contains hotels and a cemetery is about mid-way on the loop. People used to taking a ride on horses, but I felt walking down the streets of camel back road with your partner make you fall in love again.

Chakrata and Auli are nearby places to Mussoorie you can explore them too if you have time.
Its all about the queen of hills Mussoorie Uttarakhand. Please share your experience in comments if you have visited or will visit in future.
